PerTronix offers additional items to further enhance the performance of our ignition components or act as stand alone parts to be used with our customers existing set-ups. The plug wire Crimp Tool, for example, can be used with any manufacturers plug wires, whether they be 7 or 8mm diameter in addition to the normal electrical wire sizes found in most automotive applications.

A POWERFUL 2ND SPARK THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE RPM RANGE

Second Strike is the only ignition box to provide a powerful second spark throughout the entire RPM range. Other multiple spark discharge systems drop off to one spark at about 3000 RPM. With the Second Strike you can adjust when you want the second spark to occur with the unique CAO (crank angle offset). Select from 2 to 18 degrees (in 2 degree increments).

A digital rev limiter protects the engine from possible over-rev conditions. You can easily set limits with an external dial.

Applications include: Standard Breaker Point, GM HEI (4-pin), PerTronix Ignitor and Ignitor II, and many aftermarket inductive distributors.

FOOL PROOF CONTROL

Designed for use with any 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engine using points, OEM electronic (GM HEI, Ford, Chrysler) or aftermarket inductive type ignition systems including our popular Ignitor and Ignitor II points replacement systems.

As a complete digital system, the microcontroller provides much better accuracy (+/-0.01%) than analog systems. Digital rotary switches permit easy setting and 100 RPM resolution for more accurate rev control eliminating the need for chips and jumpers. Not compatible with CD ignition Systems.

POWER RELAY KIT

Many pre-1974 American vehicles were equipped with OE resistance wires which limit the current for breaker point operation. Some European cars were also similarly equipped. The PerTronix Ignitor, Ignitor II and Ignitor III systems require a full +12 volt power connection between the ignition switch and the positive coil terminal. This requires bypassing the ballast resistor or resistance wire. In many cases, the original resistance wire is buried in the vehicles wiring harness. Adding a Pertronix power relay will eliminate the need to dig through the wiring harness and replace wires. Plus, the power relay guarantees maximum system voltage for more power.
